Fees

We offer free consultations, use our contact info below to schedule a remote or in person meeting

In accordance with Missouri Rules of Court, all attorneys' fees are required to be reasonable. In an effort to make legal help accessible and costs predictable we offer flat and fixed fees for many basic matters such as entity creation and certain estate planning.

For legal services outside of our flat rate arrangements, clients are billed at an hourly rate that is normally broken down into quarter-hour increments. Our current hourly rate starts at $150 per hour depending on the level of expertise required from within the firm.

If you choose to engage our team we will make every effort to clearly communicate all of the costs that are involved, so that there are no surprises or added fees.

We accept payments by, cash, check, or major credit cards namely Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

Our fixed-rate or a flat fee for Entity creations is $500 for corporations or limited liability companies. This includes the preparation and filing of the Articles of Incorporation or Articles of Organization with the Secretary of State's Office, preparation of By-laws or standard Operating Agreements, and initial shareholder/member/board of directors meetings. Filing fees and other expenses are billed separately. Additional services are billed at an hourly rate.

Our flat rate or fixed fee for estate planning services depends upon the package. For the Living Trust Package which includes either revocable living trusts for a husband and wife or a Qualified Spousal Trust, pour-over wills, financial durable powers of attorney, and healthcare durable powers of attorney including HIPPA waivers and healthcare directives, we charge a flat fee of $1,750. For the Standard Will Package, which includes standard wills for a husband and wife including testamentary trusts for children, financial durable powers of attorney, and healthcare durable powers of attorney including HIPPA waivers and healthcare directives, we charge a flat fee of $750. To qualify for a flat fee or fixed rate, the estate planning services cannot include substantial custom drafting or numerous face-to-face meetings. Where this is necessary, hourly fees will apply instead. Of course, we will advise you if your estate plan will qualify for the flat fee or fixed rate as soon as we know the scope of your estate planning needs.

In addition, alternative billing arrangements can also be considered. Of course, each legal situation is unique and the required legal work and fees can vary. If you would like a quote on a flat fee or would like to know hourly rates reach out to learn more.

As for costs of general items such as telephone usage, copies and the like will not be billed.
